DANCE CLASS DRESS CODE
GIRLS (AGES 3 & 4): Leotard (any color, any style)
Tights (any color)
Tap shoes - Black Buckle strap style
Ballet shoes - Black No-Drawstring style
Bag to contain dance shoes
Note: Please put Dancer’s name on each shoe and on the dance bag.
Long hair must be worn back in a ponytail or bun.
GIRLS (5 YEARS OLD AND OLDER): Leotard - solid black sleeveless tank style
Tights - white
Tap shoes - black buckle strap Maryjane style
(Dancers - age 12 & up need tap oxfords)
Ballet shoes - Black Leather No-Drawstring
Bag to contain dance shoes
Note: Optional dance skirt, dance pants, or dance shorts
Dancers age 9 and older also need TAN split-sole jazz shoes - lace style
Hair must be worn back in a ponytail or bun.
BOYS (all ages): Solid White t-shirt (no print or logos)
Black elastic waist gym shorts or pants
Black or white socks
Black tap shoes and Black ballet shoes
Bag to contain shoes
Note: Boys age 9 and older also need Black split-sole jazz shoes (lace-up style)
$25.00 - one dancer enrolled ($20.00 for re-enrolling dancers)
$10.00 - each additional sibling enrolled
MONTHLY LESSON FEE:
$55.00 - one dancer enrolled
$95.00 - two siblings enrolled
$115.00 - three siblings enrolled
ALL LESSON FEES ARE DUE ON THE FIRST LESSON OF EACH MONTH.

RETURN CHECK FEE - $25.00
LATE FEE - $5.00 per each month on lesson fees a month past due.

1. Appropriate dress must be worn at each lesson. (See dress code on page 1)
2. ABSOLUTELY NO FOOD, DRINK, SMOKING, OR CHEWING GUM is allowed into the studio or the reception room.
3. ALL DANCERS must wait inside the studio until a parent picks her/him up.
4. Dancers should not arrive or be dropped off more than 10 minutes before class time.
5. Dancers should be picked up no later than 10 minutes after dismissal from class.
6. Any undue misbehavior or failure to pay for lessons is cause for dismissal from the class or any other studio related
7. Parents - please remind your children not to run in the studio, or sit on the railing in the entrance.
8. TARDINESS: Dancers need to be at class on time (or no later than 5 minutes), dressed ready to dance. To alleviate distractions
and out of respect for the class, at 5 minutes past the hour the door to the danceroom will be locked until the second half
of class. At that point, tardy dancers may enter the danceroom. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
WINTER RECITALS: The Winter Recitals will be held at Memorial Auditorium. Each program will last approx. 1hr.
30 min. There will be a dress rehearsal at Memorial Auditorium stage prior to the recitals.
WINTER RECITAL COSTUME: All dancers will need to purchase a new, ready made costume from a costume company.
The costume fee is due in early October. Average cost - $60.00 - $75.00. This costume will be used again for the Spring Recital,
so please hang the costume and keep all accessories in a safe place. Most classes will not purchase additional costumes in
WINTER RECITAL FEE: The Winter Recital Fee is $35.00 per dancer. Maximum Winter Recital Fee for a family of
two or more siblings is $70.00 total. Tickets will not be sold for the recitals. Your paid Recital Fee includes the cost of
admission for you, and all of your invited family and guests. No tickets are needed. The Winter Recital Fee is due
in December and before the Rehearsal. All fees to date (including lesson fees, costume fees, recital fee, return check
fees) must be paid in full in order to perform in the recital.
SPRING RECITALS: The Spring Recitals will be held at Memorial Auditorium. Each program will last approx. 1 hr. 30
min. There will be a dress rehearsal at Memorial Auditorium stage prior to the recital.
SPRING RECITAL COSTUME: Only selected classes will purchase an additional costume. (Most classes will reuse
their Winter Recital costume.) Average cost - $60.00 - $75.00. The costume fee will be due in January.
SPRING RECITALS AND TROPHY FEE: The Spring Recitals and Trophy Fee is $45.00 per dancer. Maximum Spring Recital
and Trophy Fee for a family of two or more siblings is $90.00 total. Tickets will not be sold for the recitals. Your paid
Recital Fee includes the cost of admission for you, and all of your family and guests. No tickets are needed. This
fee also includes a trophy at the end of May. The Spring Recital and Trophy Fee is due in May and before the Rehearsal. All
fees to date (including lesson fees, costume fees, recital fees, return check fees) must be paid in full in order
to receive a trophy and to perform in the recital.
CONCERNING MAKE-UP LESSONS:
See the class schedule sheet for the appropriate make-up class day and time. Some classes
do not have a regular make-up class time scheduled. PLEASE CONSULT WITH THE INSTRUCTOR BEFORE ATTENDING A MAKE-UP LESSON.
If a holiday falls on your class day, or if you are absent from class, we do not discount the monthly lesson fee. The monthly
lesson fee is a flat rate for the month.
LOST AND FOUND: Unclaimed items will be placed in the blue container located in the back room of the studio.
Any unclaimed items remaining after the Spring Recital will be donated to charity. PLEASE PUT YOUR DANCER’S NAME ON
EACH SHOE AND THEIR BAG!! Instructors will not be held responsible in any way for any lost, misplaced, or unclaimed items.
HAIR AND JEWELRY DURING CLASS: Please do not wear any jewelry during class, especially earrings. Hair should
be pulled back and away from face either in a bun or a ponytail. Please do not wear hair down, especially long hair that gets
in the way of turns with head spots!!
